Kelly Smith
Brighton, GBBrighton-based founder and managing director of The Black Tri Tribe, launched in September 2022 after a survey of the barriers Black and Asian athletes face in the sport. The club runs coached swims, monthly rides and countryside walks, and has grown to around a thousand members. She is also the Sussex leader for Black Girls Hike UK and describes herself as in no way what people see as a triathlete, which is the point.
