Tony Brown
Mableton, GATony Brown is the founder and president of the Black Triathletes Association, which he started after feeling isolated as one of the few Black triathletes at race start lines. He took up triathlon around 2012 and has since finished two full IRONMAN (140.6) and seven IRONMAN 70.3 races. His endurance journey spans 56 races and more than 1,160 miles, with a full IRONMAN best of 16:12:58 and a half-iron best of 6:32:26. Based in Mableton, Georgia, he champions a time-based, come-as-you-are approach that makes endurance sport accessible to beginners.
